Industry leading Norfolk care home recognises staff long service in MS Awareness Week

A Norfolk nursing care home ranked within the top 1% of care homes in the UK has recognised staff for their long service and dedication with a special presentation.

Meadow House Nursing Home in Swaffham, which is part of the Healthcare Homes Group, specialises in providing care for those with physical disabilities such as multiple sclerosis (MS), and is thanking staff during MS Awareness Week to highlight the fantastic work that they deliver

Sixteen members of staff received certificates and gifts from Chief Operating Officer Helen Gidlow at a presentation yesterday.  They have all worked at the home for over ten years, with the longest serving staff member being Clinical Support Worker Lindsay Redfern who has worked at Meadow House for 25 years.  Between them, they have accrued almost 230 years of service for the home.

Helen Gidlow said: “The loyalty of the staff certainly demonstrates what a wonderful home Meadow House is and the consistency of care is certainly a key factor to the home’s success. It is fantastic to be able to recognise our staff members for their long service with us.  They really reflect everything that we strive to deliver across all of our homes – which is a real commitment to providing the best level of care to residents.
